This master policy runs from 8/1/2026 – 7/31/2027. This Policy is Fully Earned Upon Receipt of Payment, Premium is Non-Refundable. This Master Policy has an effective date of 8/01/2026 to 7/31/2027. Applications dated after July 31, 2026 will be effective upon payment received. Keep in mind that there are no refunds, and pricing starts at $294.05 for leases up to 2,250 acres. If your land exceeds 2,250 acres, it’s an additional $0.10 per acre. Please note: This policy is not intended for commercial hunting or paid (guided) hunting.

Who needs hunting lease insurance?
If you lease land for hunting—whether as an individual or part of a hunting club—insurance helps protect you against liability claims related to accidents, injuries, or property damage. Landowners may also require proof of coverage before allowing hunting on their property.
What does this hunting lease insurance cover?
This policy includes:
- $1M per occurrence | $2MM aggregate liability coverage
- Fire damage liability up to $100,000
- Medical expenses up to $5,000
- Liability for ATVs and tree stands used for hunting
- Additional insureds included in the premium
How much does hunting lease insurance cost?
A cost calculator is available on the application page to show exact pricing before you bind your policy. Premiums, fees and surplus lines tax are subject to change by the insurance company. The cost calculator on the application will have the most current rates.
How long does my policy last?
This is a master policy that runs from 8/1/2026 to 7/31/2027. If you enroll mid- term, your coverage will still expire on 7/31/2027. A new policy will need to be purchased for the next term. A new master policy period starts after 7/31/2027 so 8/01/2027 to 7/31/2028 and so forth for the next year You buy a new master policy for new time period starting 8/01 and ending 7/31 each year.
How do I add additional landowners or tracts to my policy?
When filling out your application, simply click ‘Add a Landowner’ and enter the required details for each lease. If you acquire more land during the policy term, contact Michael Warren Insurance, and they will submit the update to underwriting.
